GINGISAGE regular is aluminum free in order to avoid possible drawbacks : It is the only aluminum free retraction paste.
Composition is mainly kaolin and ferric chloride 6%
GINGISAGE regular presents rheological properties matching with Dr. Lesage studies about the mechanical behavior of the marginal gingiva and allows sulcus opening without any damage of the epithelial attachment.
The product has in the same time a good hemostatic action by compression of the tissues
Method :
Evaluation in “Cabinet Pasteur” clinic 22 Avenue Pasteur 35400 Saint Malo France
According to the instructions for use: Exes of blood and saliva is blown over with the air spray, GINGISAGE regular is inserted into the sulcus, checking the whitening of the marginal gingiva.
The product is let in place for a 1 to 2 mn working time and then removed with the air and water spray

Sulcus filling: score 1 to 5
Removal: score 1 to 5

Side effects: gingival recession, coloration, taste, tissues injury.
For 48 clinical evaluation sheets, all the scores are above 9
There is no noticeable difference according to the indications.
Side effects are seldom: 2 patients reported a bad taste and one case of gingival recession is related.
No tissue injury has been reported.
Conclusion:
GINGISAGE regular Is easy to use: filling of the sulcus and removal
Open the sulcus.
Control bleeding and gingival fluid.
Leads to the result within 1 to 2 mn working time.
Presents few side effects : gingival recession and mainly bad taste.
Does not damage the tissues.
